So after an intense three day Bronze course, followed by a challenging assessment in difficult conditions, Elley successfully completed her bronze at Mooloolaba Surf Club today. She was one of 5 teenagers doing it, but the only one who didn't already have her SRC. She aced it!

As I said the conditions were pretty tricky, they were in the water in the latter half of the runout to low tide, so the waves were standing up and dumping on the shallow sand bank close to shore. The wind was also blowing NNE which was causing a very chaotic chop. I was watching her from the water as I was swimming, I was so proud of her.

She will be joining me on the mighty patrol D, with our first patrol being this Saturday morning. I am so pleased that she is joining me!!
