Frev were unable to dive the ex-HMAS Brisbane yesterday due to the boat being out of service, so we went for the next best thing which was a Nudibranch dive today in the Mooloolah River. We picked up tanks from ScubaWorld first thing in the morning and headed to the dive site at LaBalsa Park. We were able to park right at the water but we did have to clamber over the rocks to get in. This was ok as it saved us a long walk to the steps.
The dive itself was very shallow with an average depth of 3.7m. Kev started to get cold and Fran was having issues with her buoyancy so we decided to call it a day at 70 mins. We hadn't even used half our gas yet.
